Cams was founded in 1961 , since then, the company has developed a strong tradition in precision mechanics..

The initial idea of supporting large companies, offering products and services with high quality standards, enabled insertions in the following sectors: automotive, laser, measurement, textile, wood, paper, glass, naval, food, etc.

The well consolidated reality of the company offers assistance able to completely satisfy its partners.

Cams operates on a total area of 11,000 square meters, of which 2,615 square meters are covered. The covered areas are organised to allow a rationalisation of the spaces suited to modern business needs. The production has a constantly updated high-tech machine park, which is handled by highly qualified staff, and enables the adoption of the most appropriate and convenient production solution for small and medium series production.

The history of Cams begins in the 60s when the brothers Benedetto decided to open a small mechanic store.
Love for work, for mechanics, for innovation transmitted by their father Virgilio, distinguish the activity of the two sons, who have been leading Cams for over 30 years.

Cams has moved from the "digitalisation" phase initiated with the INDUSTRY 4.0, to the "digital transformation" phase, meant as the process of integrating digital technologies into all aspects of the company business to improve processes, identify new creation flows of value and create more customised and engaging experiences for customers.

For this reason, the business model has been redesigned, the competitive strategy has been redefined, financial resources have been used to acquire new production machinery and an adequate hardware and software infrastructure, as well as training plans for employees on the use and mastery of emerging technologies.
